3 more stray dogs in Vanadzor have been vaccinated and microchipped
On Saturday, February 14, 2026, we vaccinated and microchipped 3 stray dogs in Vanadzor - Sevuk, Dobbi, and Sharik - and in total, 110 dogs have already been vaccinated and microchipped.
This was made possible thanks to the Banka Dobra: we purchased 10 sets of vaccines and microchips in advance. Three have already been used, and 7 are still left.
We do this not for profit, but for the safety of the city, its residents, and pets. The more stray dogs are vaccinated and identified (microchipped), the lower the risk of infections spreading, and the calmer it is for everyone - those who live nearby, those who walk with children, and those who simply move around their neighborhood. We use a combination vaccine: it protects not only against rabies but also against other dangerous infections. This reduces the overall infectious pressure on the streets. Pets regularly come into contact with the outdoor environment - during walks, near apartment entrances, and in courtyards. When stray animals are vaccinated, the risk of infection for pets also becomes lower.
