On March 11, 2026, a dog named Koto was brought to our clinic. She was in serious condition: barely able to stand, lethargic, with a suspected fracture of the pelvis and left hind limb. During the initial examination, her mucous membranes were pink, and the ultrasound showed a significantly distended bladder, with no free fluid detected in the abdominal cavity. It was immediately clear that the situation was serious and required further diagnostics.
Koto was prescribed pain relief, fluid therapy, antibiotics, and a course of medications for further monitoring and stabilization. On March 12, an X-ray confirmed a complex pelvic fracture and a large accumulation of fecal masses. Osteosynthesis was recommended as the next step.
Two invoices were issued for the initial stages of Koto’s treatment:
March 11 - 15,450 AMD
March 12 - 15,000 AMD
In total, 30,450 AMD was spent on Koto at this stage. The costs included the initial examination, ultrasound, injections, medications, consumables, and additional procedures.
Cases like this always follow the same logic: first relieve pain, stabilize the patient, and understand how severe the injury is - only then decide on the next stage of treatment. Koto’s case was exactly like that - without proper examination and diagnostics, there is no room for delay or guesswork.
Thank you to everyone who supports our work. This is what real help looks like: examination, treatment plan, invoices, care, and honest reporting for every animal.
