Willy is looking for a new home after a major surgery

2025-12-05 13:45
Willy came to us unexpectedly. During our spay/neuter campaign in October 2025, volunteers brought him straight from the street – exhausted, in pain, and with a severely injured leg. It became clear that saving the limb was impossible, and amputation was the only way to relieve his suffering and give him a chance to live.
We performed the surgery the same day. Willy spent the night at our clinic and then continued his recovery for several weeks at a paid boarding facility. He proved to be incredibly resilient – he regained strength quickly, adapted to life on three legs, and slowly started trusting people again. But going back to the streets is simply not an option. A stray dog with an amputation cannot survive outside.
While under our care, Willy was neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is fully ready to move into a new home and is waiting for just one thing – a person who will give him a safe and loving life. Willy is gentle, friendly, and very people-oriented. He truly wants to become someone’s loyal companion.
Willy is currently in Vanadzor
