He was so small he could fit in your hands. Just one and a half months old — and already facing a challenge not every adult could endure. Ryzhik was lying right on the road, shivering and unable to stand. He was spotted by Baghdasaryan Ani, and from that moment, his new journey began.
Without hesitation, Ani brought him to the “Shunn u Katun” veterinary clinic. The examination revealed that his rear right leg had completely lost sensitivity. We knew this was his only chance to survive, so we made a difficult but necessary decision — to amputate the limb.
Ryzhik turned out to be a true hero. He recovered surprisingly quickly after surgery and, just a few days later, was moving confidently, as if he had always known his life was only beginning.
Thanks to our administrator Ani and Elita from the Yerevan Meggie's Home 🐾 (Animal shelter), Ryzhik was accepted into the shelter, where he is loved and cared for. But he still needs a loving family or guardians who will give him the home and attention he truly deserves.
