In the small town of Tumanyan lives a stray dog named Gata. Her life on the streets was full of hardships — cold nights, hunger, and a constant fight for survival. Like many stray animals, she was left alone, without care or support. But one day, everything changed: compassionate activists from Tumanyan noticed Gata, helped her, and organized her transportation to our clinic.
When Gata arrived at our veterinary clinic, her condition was deeply concerning. The diagnosis was venereal sarcoma, a malignant tumor that could have had tragic consequences without timely treatment. However, thanks to the support of our clinic and the subsidized treatment program, Gata was given a chance to recover.
We began intensive treatment, which included a course of IV drips and injections of a special drug – Vincristine, proven to be effective in fighting tumors. We closely monitored Gata’s condition, conducting regular blood tests to track the progress of her treatment. The treatment lasted four weeks, and Gata bravely endured this period despite all the challenges.
Day by day, Gata grew stronger: the tumor shrank, her blood test results showed positive dynamics, and the light of hope returned to her eyes. Today, Gata is healthy and ready for a new chapter in her life. However, she remains a shy dog and clearly dislikes being photographed, preferring to stay out of the spotlight.
Gata’s story is a vivid example of how attention, professionalism, and kindness can completely transform the life of even the most vulnerable animals. Join us in helping more animals like her! It fills us with pride for our work and inspires us to continue providing assistance to those in need.
