Pina: the dog who found life again

Several years ago, Armine Vermishyan took an emaciated Pina off the street and helped her trust people again. In April 2024, the dog needed an urgent operation lasting several hours because of a vaginal prolapse.

When Pina was found on the street, she was severely emaciated and her eyes had lost their spark. Years of wandering had exhausted her, but someone stopped to help.

A home and trust restored

Several years ago, Armine Vermishyan took Pina in, surrounded her with care and helped her trust people again.

Emergency surgery in April 2024

In April 2024, Pina was diagnosed with a vaginal prolapse. This painful condition required urgent surgery.

Our veterinary surgeons performed an ovariohysterectomy and removed the prolapsed vagina. The operation lasted several hours. We monitored Pina throughout, then provided postoperative care and supportive therapy.

Pina's recovery

Within a few days, Pina started eating and taking short walks. A couple of weeks later, her coat was shining again, the light had returned to her eyes and her tail was wagging.

Pina is now happy beside Armine, the person who once gave her a second chance.

Thank you, Armine

We are grateful to Armine for taking Pina off the street and continuing to stand by her. Share Pina's story with people who are also ready to help an animal in need.
