Soaked and trusting, Archie came to us from the street. We helped with treatment, Konstantin and our visitors with the bill, and Louise took him into foster care. Now he needs a home of his own.

Archie from Gyumri: life after distemper
Archie survived canine distemper and received dental care at our clinic. Since the cleaning, he eats more comfortably and eagerly seeks affection. Volunteers in Gyumri are looking after him.
Monica’s story: an apricot pit and emergency surgery
Monica, a young dog, stopped eating and drinking and began vomiting green fluid. Ultrasound revealed a foreign object in her intestine. During surgery, we removed an apricot pit and resected part of the bowel. This is how her first week of recovery went.
Koko: a new start
Hrant Macharyan spotted a small dog in Dilijan who could barely stay on her feet. A taxi driver named Vache brought Koko to our clinic, where we performed emergency surgery for pyometra and two inguinal hernias.
Kazakhstan 2025: 1,850 animals and one shared goal
From 17 June to 11 July, the Shunn u Katun team worked with international and local colleagues in six cities across Kazakhstan. Vets neutered 1,850 dogs and cats in 25 days, while local professionals gained practical experience to continue the programme.
Kukolka's story: four weeks of treatment and a return to the park
Visitors to Sayat-Nova Park in Vanadzor have known Kukolka for a long time. When she became seriously ill, help from local people, volunteers and friends of the clinic made four weeks of treatment possible. Kukolka is now back to greeting people in the park.
Gata from Tumanyan: four weeks of treatment and a new start
Gata was found on the streets of Tumanyan and brought to our clinic with a transmissible venereal tumour. After four weeks of vincristine treatment, the tumour shrank, her blood test results improved and she is now healthy.
Pina: the dog who found life again
Several years ago, Armine Vermishyan took an emaciated Pina off the street and helped her trust people again. In April 2024, the dog needed an urgent operation lasting several hours because of a vaginal prolapse.
